Taobo is from Beijing, China, and received his B.S. with Honor in both chemical engineering and chemistry at University of Wisconsin-Madison. He did organic synthesis with Prof. Weiping Tang and electrocatalysis with Prof. Marcel Schreier. Taobo is also doing research in flow batteries under supervision of Prof. Mike Aziz. With Zack, he is discovering approaches of ammonia transformations. Apart from lab work, Taobo likes to invest in the stock market and contemplate the meanings of life (maybe there’s also a causal relationship between them).
