Seungwoo is from Seoul, Korea and received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Seoul National University. There, he worked with Professor Ki Tae Nam on the design of bio-inspired nanocatalysts and fundamental principles governing the correlation between active site geometry and catalytic properties. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Korea University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with early completion.
Seungwoo is now working with Zack to develop novel electrochemical pathways for lower-temperature chemical processes. Beyond his research, he enjoys exploring new places, staying active through sports, and discovering diverse culinary experiences.
